Watch Repair Tutorial Sessions Now Available

Since the start of the TimeZone Watch School 10 years ago students have expressed the desire to continue their training in the Art & Science of Watch Repair. The idea of holding weekend workshops in our Oakland, California offices is something that I have considered for a long time. So far, we just have not found the time to put together any weekend workshop classes.

Finding the right instructor willing and able to teach is not an easy task.
I have known Urs for 25 years and always knew he had the ability to teach.

In fact the first Watchmaker Urs worked with after arriving from Switzerland would always come in and tell us how much he was learning from Urs. The staff and management at Otto Frei's has always receive the benefit of helpful and friendly knowledge and advice from Urs and we are very thankful to him and other customers who share their knowledge, training and experiences with us.

Tai Williams booked a two hour tutoring session from 5-7 PM.

You can book a session from 2 to 4 hours long any Monday thru Thursday from 2-7 PM.

This was Urs's first experience as a tutor and his enthusiasm toward his craft was evident and appreciated.

Tai, was very pleased with how the training and has booked another session this for this week.

Urs, was also very impressed with the skills Tai had acquired from the TimeZone School Levels 1 & 2

Most of all it was Tai's desire to learn that sparked a fire in Urs to teach.
